I enjoyed every minute of being with writers as you did! But one small change: the first meeting to form RWA was held in Houston and many slept at my home. The actual first conference was held in the Woodlands Country Club and we had over 500 attendees…a record we never expected because we really only thought we’d have about 150 to 200 not counting the editors…my, how things have changed!

So glad so many of us were there to celebrate 30 years of Retreat form Harsh Reality. I always wish we could afford to do another one in the fall, but then maybe it wouldn’t be as special.
