Oh yes, Maris. The sun comes out occasionally in Michigan, but warm it is not.

If you can’t remember where everything goes when you return home and you become exasperated, you have my permission to bang your head against the nearest hard object. I did. It hurt, but I think it helped. 😉

I’m packing to return north and wondering how it’s all going to fit in the car. And once we arrive back in Michigan, I’m sure my experiences will be similar to yours. Sigh. Not looking forward to that. And are you telling me it’s not sunny and warm up there? Oh no.

Thanks, Melissa. I often called the boys by the other’s name when they were up to no good. Boys will be boys. However, the most embarrassing slip was when I called our younger son by the dog’s name. Oops.

I’ve always said that when we have children our brains start going on the fritz. With two children, I’ve sometimes lost the ability to remember all the numbers as well as what their names are. 🙂 Try that when angry or worried. I’m glad I only had two not the five my parents had, because my brain would be totally gone! Welcome home!

LOL I can empathize. I still haven’t gotten totally used to our new house. I can say exactly where things were located at the old one. But here? So I search and search, trying all the normal places. Then I try the abnormal places. 🙂 My office is still in chaos. Not enough hours in the day and I can work with chaos all around me. But then I need something. Where, oh, where is it now? Enjoy being home again.
