I’m always entertained when I come here, Jolana. Thank you. Guess you could say I’m a spoiler too, a creative married to a linear type guy. He’s learned to be tolerant with me. Or maybe he just pretends to listen while he ignores me.

You’re right about being engaged if you try to guess what’s going to happen. It’s more fun when the solution isn’t too obvious, of course. I enjoy predicting the ending more if I have to puzzle it out.

LOL! Sometimes the outcome of a show is so obvious. For example, on Star Trek you knew the guys in the red shirts who beamed down to a planet were going to die–with the exception of Scotty, of course. 🙂

It’s fun to solve the mysteries, isn’t it? MG is an engineer, so he’s linear and follows things logically–A to B to C, etc. I’m the creative type; I make leaps of logic. I go directly from A to Z. It drives him nuts.

It must be a writer thing. My most memorable prediction happened while hubs was watching a movie in his den. I walked in, asked him a question, glanced at the screen on the way out and casually pointed and said, “They’re all going to die, except for that guy and that girl.” He was super impressed that I guessed the ending so easily in five seconds… and super irritated because I took all the fun out of the rest of his movie. 🙂

LOL We could be twins. I do the same to Hubs. When the camera zooms in on an odd item, I’ll say that’s going to figure in the plot later. I get a slanted look. I’ll announce who (I think) dun it, he’ll ignore me. Sometimes it’s so obvious. But the twists are what I enjoy the most.
